Power Regulation Design

Since the generator will be giving a variable AC voltage depending on crank frequency, we will need a full wave rectifier and smoothing filter. Here is an example bridge configuration to work off of:
After the prototype generator has been characterized, we can identifty the needed shunt diode (or some other type of simple voltage regulator) to drop down to the needed 12V supply.
All components must be power rated to prevent damage.
